Emily Bick |Postdoctoral Fellow
Emily splits her time between the University of Copenhagen and FaunaPhotonics. Focusing on an Innovation Fund grant project entitled “Optimization of agricultural pest management strategies by combining modelling and digital insect monitoring.” Specifically, she will add insect population projections to the FaunaPhotonics sensor software through modelling and field validation.
She received a B.S. in Entomology at Cornell University and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Entomology and Nematology at University of California, Davis. She also has working experience as a Research & Development Project Manager (2013-15) at Rainbow Treecare Scientific Advancements.
In her spare time Emily enjoys Bicycling, hiking, sailing, and exploring the outdoors.
